Welcome

Let me introduce myself to you, my name is Kathy Kunst, I was born and raised in the beautiful PNW just south of Seattle. I’m a mom to a 17-year-old son, two cats, a small dog AND work full-time. Whew! 

​

Though I have had an interest in photography for many years and have had this recent awakening to share that creative side of me with others through my photographs. From the nostalgic, historical, nature's beauty to the whimsical and beyond.

​

My inspiration comes from two particularly important people in my life and that’s my late Father and teenage son. 

​

My Father’s artistic gift was in woodworking and carving. His creativity was limitless. He spent hours in the evenings after dinner carving his masterpieces, but he was available for my brother and I and often provided lessons in carving.  My first carving was the Seahawk’s logo I made in 1977. Go Hawks!

My son is also very artistic and I am in awe on how he thinks freely and creatively though his acrylic paintings.

My hope is that I can make you smile so you can find your own stories, memories, and beauty in my collection of photographs.
